Michelle Leigh Meekins, 20, of 115 Mimosa Road, died Friday, Oct. 6, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Portsmouth and worked at Advance Auto Parts as a delivery driver. She attended Western Branch Community Church.
She is survived by her father, Marvin Lee Meekins Jr. of Portsmouth, and her stepmother, Mary Lee Meekins of Portsmouth; maternal grandfather, Julian Whiteman of Texas; paternal grandparents, Marvin L. and Sadie Meekins of Chesapeake; stepsister, Kimberly Everitte of Chesapeake; brother, Steven Lee Meekins of Anchorage, Alaska; and stepbrother, Darren Clark of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Jim Wall. The family will be at 115 Mimosa Road this afternoon. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
