James E. Walker, 47, of the 1000 block of E. Liberty St., died Oct. 1, 1995, in Isle of Wight County.
He was a self-employed auto mechanic and a native of Emporia, Va. He was preceded in death by his father, James Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Antonette Walker; mother, Earlene Walker; two daughters, Sandra Walker, Pamela Copeland; five sons, Kevin Dukes, Eddie Walker, James Walker Jr., Corey Britt, and Jamie Copeland; six sisters, Coretha Moore, Bertha Little, Nell Holley, Mary Stallworth, Toni Cook, and Jean Walker; two brothers, Robert Walker, Edgar Walker; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Bibleway Holiness Church, Chesapeake, by Bishop William J. Faison. Burial will be in Washington Memorial Cemetery, Emporia. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge.
