MARY L. SPULKA

Mary Louise Spulka, 60, of the 6900 block of Kenney Lane, died Oct. 7, 1995, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Spulka was born in Philadelphia and was a food service worker at Louise Eggleston Center. She was predeceased by her husband, John Spulka Sr., and her son, John Spulka Jr.

Survivors include a sister, Dolores Papile of New York City; four brothers, Tony Cabacungan of Portsmouth, Michael Cabacungan of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Teddy Cabacungan of New York City and Jimmy Cabacungan of California; a daughter-in-law, Maureen A. Spulka of New York City; four grandchildren, John Michael Spulka, Kristen Elizabeth Spulka, Cassandra Elizabeth Spulka and Amber Lee Spulka, all of New York City; four nieces, Rosemary Cabacungan and Jennifer Cabacungan, both of New York City, Mary Papile of Massachusetts and Daun Hewitt of Portsmouth; 10 nephews, Paul Cabacungan of South Carolina, Robert Chewning of Portsmouth, Mark Cabacungan of Norfolk, Brian Cabacungan of Portsmouth, Frankie Papile of Massachusetts, Donnie Papile of New York City, Kevin Papile of New York City, Michael Papile of Oklahoma and Teddy Cabacungan and Michael Cabacungan, both of New York City; and a cousin, Helen Byrley of New York City.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. John N. Ashenfelder. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
