Ethel Pierce McDearmid, 89, of the 800 block of North Villier Court, died Oct. 8, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. McDearmid, the widow of Archie McDearmid, was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Chesapeake.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Dr. Andrew McDearmid and Archie E. McDearmid, both of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Paul Pierce of Norfolk and Charles Ambroco Pierce of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Gerald Qualls. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
