Mr. Charles Donald Martin, 38, of the 800 block of Whitaker Lane, died Oct. 7, 1995.
He was a native of Norfolk and was the son of Charlie Cherry Jr. and Emily Lee Harvey.
He is survived by his wife, Gail D. Martin; two daughters, Tarsha Wiggins, Markita Martin; a son, Charles Donald Martin Jr.; a sister, Troy Hines; a brother, Reginald Harvey; adopted grandmother, Mary Martin; two grandchildren; father-in-law, Arlester Wilson; and mother-in-law, Martha Wilson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Ben Thomas in St. Mark R.U.Z.A. Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The viewing will be held Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at the residence. Riddick Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
