Adell Odom, 71, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1995.
She was born in Halifax County then moved to Hampton in 1938 where she is a member of LaCrosse Memorial Presbyterian Church. Recently, she moved to Ivor.
Mrs. Odom is a life member of Phoebus Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. She had been a school traffic guard at Jane Bryan Elementary School from 1955 until 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorthy O. Barry and two grandsons, Robert M. Barry and Jason K. Barry.
A graveside service with Phoebus Fire Company Ladies Auxillary Rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Michael Harrell. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
