Geneva Eckard, 85, of the 3000 block of Maddox Drive, died Oct. 10, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was a native of Mountain City, Tenn., and the widow of Morris E. Eckard. She was a member of Christian Church in Mountain City.
She is survived by two daughters, Colleen S. Eckard of Richmond and Barbara A. Day of Marco Island, Fla.; one grandson, Michael A. Martinette of Newman, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Kelly Martinette and Aaron Martinette, both of Newman.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Pastor Paul D. Hawkins in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial is in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
