William Filer Cox, 46, of the 1300 block of Windsor Point, died Oct. 9, 1995, in his residence.
He was a native of Daytona Beach, Fla., and attended First Baptist Church of Norfolk. He was a student at Old Dominion University.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol and Christine Cox, both of Boca Raton, Fla.; mother, Carol Filer Mancini, and stepfather, Anthony J. Mancini, both of Norfolk; brother, Frank C. Cox Jr. of Norfolk; and uncle, R.F. Filer Jr. of Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank C. Cox Sr., and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Filer Sr.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
