NATHANIEL L. WRENN

Elder Nathaniel Lee Wrenn, 73, of 2528 Crestwood Lane, died Oct. 6, 1995 in Lake Taylor Hospital.

He was the son of the late Sally B. Johnson and Henry Wrenn. He was a retired pastor for the New Bethel Church of God in Christ, Norfolk, 23513, where he worked 31 years and was involved in many of its activities. He had been retired for 12 years. He was a native of Southampton County, Va. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Norfolk, Chapter (NU)4, World War II Disabled American Veterans, and a retired supervisor of 31 years from Norfolk Naval Base.

He is survived by his wife, Eldress Susie B. Wrenn of Chesapeake; adopted son, Woodrow David Wrenn; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie William and Mrs. Sarah Hamlin, both of Southampton, County; two brothers-in-law, Rufus Johnson and Sgt. John M. Johnson Jr., both of Norfolk; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Teresa Saunders and Peaches Johnson of Norfolk; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by Bishop Samuel Green Jr. in New Hope COGIC, 3232 Breast Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at Hale Funeral Home at 10 a.m. for the procession to the church on Saturday.
