John N. Smith, an IBM computer employee for three decades, has joined the administrative staff of Elizabeth City State University, Chancellor Mickey L. Burnim announced this week.
Smith will assume primary responsibility for managing ECSU's computing and telecommunications resources, Burnim said.
Smith, a mathematics graduate of N.C. Central University, was a software developer for IBM, and 20 of his 30 years with the giant computer company were spent in management, Burnim said. by CNB
