VIRGINIA SANFORD

Hummer Virginia Sanford, 91, of the 7300 block of Major Ave., died Thursday, Oct. 12, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

She was born in Senora, Va., and was the daughter of the late Hummer Jane Pittaman and Zadock B. Keyser.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin E. Sanford; daughter, Damaris ``Pat'' S. Seibel and her husband Robert, of Norfolk; granddaughter, Teresa S. Lewin and her husband, William, of Virginia Beach; two great-grandchildren, Angela Temple of Virginia Beach, and Christopher Temple of the U.S. Air Force in Dover, Del.

A chapel funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Cox Funeral Home by the Rev. Ted A. James of the First Baptist Church of Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
