David Parker Bailey, 41, of the 700 block of Roosevelt Ave., died Oct. 11, 1995, in his residence.
He was a native of Roanoke, Va., and was an employee of Baywest Transport. Mr. Bailey was a member of Tidewater Transportation Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Katharine Renee Bailey of Elizabeth City, N.C.; son, David Wayne Parker of Henderson, N.C.; step-mother, Sheila W. Bailey, and father, C.R. ``Bill'' Bailey, both of Norfolk; and sister, Sharon B. Matthews of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Foster Bailey.
A funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday by Pastor David Roth in Faith Bible Church, 372 Nelms Lane, Virginia Beach. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
