Merite Price Williamson, 83, of the 200 block of S. Newtown Road, died Oct. 13, 1995.
She was a native of Surry County, Va. and was the widow of Frank W. Williamson Sr. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Ocean View Presbyterian Church and was also a member of Lenox Garden Club and the Christian Womens Club.
She is survived by her daugher, Sue W. Piper of Virginia Beach; two sons, Frank Walts Williamson Jr. of Brandon, Fla. and Kenneth E. Williamson Sr. of Norfolk; sister, Jane Sawyer of Chesapeake; four brothers, Francis Price of Portsmouth, Hudson Price of Chesapeake, Norman Price and Jennings Price, both of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. James Carriker in Ocean View Presbyterian Church. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 5 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Ocean View Presbyterian Church.
