PROSOFT CHIEF GIVEN SMALL-BUSINESS AWARD

The U.S. Small Business Administration named Paul K. Wong, president of Professional Software Engineering Inc. of Virginia Beach, as the 1995 Virginia Minority Small Business Person of the Year for the Richmond District Office, which includes all but the northern part of the state. Firms were rated on financial condition, growth and sales for three years, and full-time employees. Consideration also was given to challenges the business owner overcame and community involvement of the firm. PROSOFT was founded in 1984 and has grown from six employees to 190. The company is a Novell authorized service center, a Lotus authorized training center, and a Microsoft solutions provider. (Staff) by CNB
