AND BABY makes three. And also 10 extra pounds for one of our callers to Fitness Quest last week. She wants to lose those ``baby'' pounds.
Losing those pounds picked up in pregnancy has been a goal of many who've called our BFIT line since we began Fitness Quest in July.
It's hard not pick up a few pounds. Even if you're a former beauty queen. Miss USA 1977 is one of our latest members of Fitness Quest, pledging to lose the extra pounds she's gained.
If you want to join Fitness Quest or if you'd just like to learn more about exercise and nutrition, call Infoline at 640-5555 and press BFIT (2348). Unfortunately, we cannot return your calls, but hope you find our information and chat lines helpful.
Joining Fitness Quest, which runs through December, doesn't have to be a lonely undertaking. Families, companies, clubs can sign on.
Fitness Quest members are invited to free exercise classes Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Contemporary Fitness, 306 W. 21st Street, Norfolk. For more information, call Wendy Pirovolos at 622-9469.
Each week 10 callers who pledge their goals are selected at random to receive a ``Go for Fit'' T-shirt.
This week's winners are:
K. Davidson, Portsmouth; G. Hartman, Virginia Beach; Susan Hood, Virginia Beach; Cindy Miller, Chesapeake; Lydia Moyrio, Norfolk; Donna Rose, Chesapeake; Doris Salter, Norfolk; Sharon Walk, Norfolk; Sharon Washington, Norfolk; Queen Wiggins, Chesapeake.
