A groundbreaking ceremony for the new I.C. Norcom High School will be held at the new school site at 1801 London Blvd. at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Portsmouth Mayor Gloria O. Webb, School Board Chairman J. Thomas Benn III, Superintendent Richard D. Trumble and other officials will participate. Invited guests will attend a reception at Wynn's Restaurant on High Street after the ceremony.
Construction has already begun on the new school scheduled to open in September of 1997. by CNB
