SUSANNA PEGRAM

Susanna Pegram, 85, of the 1100 block of Craig St., died Oct. 11, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk County and a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake. She was a cook for 20 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Alberta Purvis of Norfolk, Mary Parker of Chesapeake; one sister, Mrs. Mary Massey of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Cora Pegram and William Pegram.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in New Hope United Church of Christ, Norfolk, by the Rev. James W. Anderson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Friends will assemble with the family at 1709 Liberty St., Chesapeake, at 11 a.m. Tuesday for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, in charge.
