LEROY C. HANNA

Leroy Clarence Hanna, of the 900 block of Sedley Road, died Oct. 14, 1995, in his home.

He was a retired postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked for 24 years. He was a native of Charleston, S.C., and was the widower of Maxine Hanna. Mr. Hanna was a member of United Norfolk Methodist Church, Norfolk and was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by three daughters, Gail Williams-Wadsworth of Virginia Beach, Barbara Hanna of Manassas, Va., and Lolita Johnson of Norfolk; son, Army CWO3 William Melvin Hanna of the Netherlands; sister, Margaret Blackman of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two nieces, Hilda Matthews and Joan Johnson of South Carolina.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in United Norfolk Methodist Church, Norfolk. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be 942 Sedley Road, Virginia Beach. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
