WILLIAM VOLIVA

William ``Whit'' Voliva, 77, who lived in Princess Anne County for 62 years, died Oct. 16, 1995, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Voliva was born in Columbia, N.C., and was the widower of Florence Cashman Voliva. He retired from the City of Virginia Beach as a building inspector for 17 years and was a retired carpenter. He was a past member of Princess Anne Ruritan Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Voliva Hancock of Virginia Beach and Ann Voliva Meyer of East Dubuque, Ill.; mother, Annie Cooper Voliva of Virginia Beach; one sister, Juanita Manges of Virginia Beach; one brother, Kenneth Voliva of Chicago; two brothers-in-law, Charles W. Cashman Jr. and Delbert Lee Cashman, both of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Mark W. Stone in Rosewood Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mark Stone Evangelistic Association, 2332 Plantation Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454.
