Florine Mathias Parks, 81, formerly of Arlington Place, died Oct. 17, 1995, in Suffolk.
Mrs. Parks, a native of Corapeake, N.C., was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy B. Howell of Portsmouth; one son, Marvin E. Brinkley of Portsmouth; one brother, Louis Mathias of Corapeake; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Olive Branch Cemetery, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at 4312 Scott St., Portsmouth.
