Lucy Shakelford, 85, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995. She was a native of Norfolk, but had been a resident of Pensacola for the past nine years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Shakelford.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday in the Charity Cemetery at 10 a.m. Judge Hal J. Bonney Jr. officiating. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
