Mrs. Selma Craft Hofler, 94, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1995, in Britthaven Nursing Home in Edenton, N.C.
She was a native of Roper, N.C., in Washington County and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Lois Swain Craft and the widow of Walter Linwood Hofler.
Survivors include three daughters, Hazel B. Stephan and Helen H. Pierce, both of Sunbury, and Dorothy B. Ange of Williamston, N.C.; two sisters, Blanche C. Walker of Plymouth, N.C., and Brinkley Gorenson of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one geat-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Parr officiating. Burial will follow in the Damascus Christian Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Sunbury Volunteer Fire Dept. or Beulah Baptist Church. The family will be at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Pierce of Sunbury. Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, is in charge of arrangements.
