Former U.S. Secretary of State Lawrence S. Eagleburger will address the World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads on Monday, discussing ``Foreign Policy in the Last Decade of the 20th Century.''
Before his term as secretary of state near the end of the Bush administration, Eagleburger held a number of senior foreign policy positions during a 35-year government career in the State Department, the Defense Department and the National Security Council. He was ambassador to Yugoslavia in the late 1970s.
He is a senior foreign policy adviser to the Washington law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman and Caldwell. He is a frequent host of the CNN news show ``Crossfire.''
The dinner program at the Norfolk Airport Hilton is open to the public. It includes a reception at 6:15 p.m., dinner at 7 and Eagleburger's remarks at 8. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Call 461-3664. by CNB
