PAUL F. LASSITER

Paul Franklin Lassiter, 82, of Star Route, died Oct. 20, 1995, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

Mr. Lassiter, the retired owner of Lassiter's Septic Tank Service, was a native of Hertford County, N.C. He was a member of Christian Harbor Baptist Church, Harrellsville, N.C., and chairman of deacons and a member of the adult Sunday school class.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Congleton Lassiter; one daughter, Gloria Davis and her husband, Cecil Davis, of Colerain; three sons, Thomas Ray Lassiter and his wife, Karen, of Charleston, S.C., James Franklin Lassiter and his wife, Audry, of Raleigh, N.C., and Paul Franklin Lassiter Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Richmond; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Christian Harbor Baptist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Cone and the Rev. Robert May. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie. Friends may join the family at Garrett Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Harrellsville Rescue Squad, Harrellsville, N.C. 27942.
