FINLEY G. SMITH

Finley Gale Smith, formerly of Norfolk, died Oct. 19, 1995, in his residence in Pungoteague.

Mr. Smith, the son of the late Al and Mattie Mae Chandler Smith, was born in Onancock, Va., and raised in Cashville, Va. He was a retired machinist for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He attended Epworth United Methodist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Margaret Smith; one sister, Angelia S. Mears of Nassawadox; one daughter-in-law, Helen K. Smith of Pungo-teague; one grandson, Ernest E. Smith Jr. of Pungoteague.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cape Charles Cemetery by the Rev. Charles Wiest. Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, in charge.
