Myrtle Burt Magee, 87, a resident of Main St., died Oct. 20, 1995, in Medical College of Virginia, Richmond.
She was a native of Sussex County and a member of Capron United Methodist Church and the Stony Creek Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband was the late Leonard R. Magee. She was the mother of the late Mrs. Willie Lou Roger.
She is survived by a grandson, James Drew Anderson of Portsmouth; a niece, Josephine Bauer of Deltaville; and close friends Herbert and Emily Francis of Capron.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 1995, in Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Va., by the Rev. Russ Ford. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, is in charge.
