Lloyd Elton Boone Jr., 70, died Oct. 19, 1995, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.
He was a native of Northampton County and the son of the late Lloyd E. and Ola M. Boone of Conway. Mr. Boone retired from Union Camp Corp., Franklin, Va., after 32 years as a supervisor. He also was a member of the Conway United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Duke Boone of the home; three sons, Steve D. Boone of Roanoke Rapids, Otis Boone and his wife, Sandra, of Milwaukee, N.C., and Mike Boone and his wife, Mary Liz, of Elizabeth City; one sister, Ruby B. Peacock of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Laura and Jeff Boone of Roanoke Rapids.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Conway United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Hammond. Burial will follow in the Conway Cemetery. The family will receive friends in their home at 202 Garriss St., Conway. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Leukemia Society. Bridgers Funeral Home is in charge.
