EARY D. MOORE

Eary D. Moore, 77, of the 200 block of Beck St., the retired owner of Overhead Door Co. in Norfolk, died Oct. 21, 1995.

He was a native of Robersonville, N.C. and was a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II in the 111th Field Artillery and past Commander of Post (NU)5 with the 29th Division Association. He was Commander of Department of Virginia 29th Division Association, and he was the National Jr. Vice-Commander of the 29th Division Association.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia G. Moore; daughter, Dona Moore Scott of Swampscott, Mass.; son, F. Douglas Moore of Newport News; two sisters, Effie Millard of Millersville, Md. and Elsie Rae Arnold of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Diane Scott, Mark Scott, Brenna Moore, and Evan Moore.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Dr. Harry T. Dixon Jr. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
