I am only 27 years old, but listen to me for a while and I will start to sound much older.
Will Social Security be around for me when it's time to quit work?
Will my 4-year-old have the same opportunities I had as a child?
Will I still have a job by the time I finish writing this?
Will we ever make ends meet?
Will the county that my husband so faithfully serves be there for him when he retires?
Will I die of cancer, AIDS, drive-by shooting, suicide, hunger, homelessness, malnutrition, someone else's greed or lack of medical insurance?
Will we ever look at one another as humans and not as colors or races?
Am I beginning to sound much older now?
