Stella Margaret Hummer, 97, of the 5300 block of Marion Lane, died Oct. 22, 1995.
Mrs. Hummer, a native of Elkton, Ky., was the widow of Lilburn T. Hummer, Sr. She was retired from Smith and Welton's Fur Department in Norfolk. She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, F. Jeannie Brochu of Virginia Beach, Rita Roberts of Bolder, Colo.; three sons, L.T. Hummer Jr. of Seaford, Va., Douglas D. Hummer of Inverness, Fla., George R. Hummer of Glendale, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday by Father Paschal Kneip, in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Mausoleum, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the home of Bob Brochu, 5000 Cotswold Landing, Virginia Beach, Va. 23464.
