State officials and Henrico County are trying to lure a $1.5 billion manufacturing plant to the Richmond area, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported. The newspaper reported unnamed sources who said the project would involve building a 1-million-square-foot plant on 200 to 300 acres near Richmond International Airport. The article said the company, which was not named, also is considering a site elsewhere in Virginia.
