This year's election will afford federal retirees in Virginia a rare treat: the opportunity to trickle back up at those who trickled their cheap tax settlement down on us last fall.
The trick is to throw out every incumbent seeking re-election to the General Assembly. They all participated in the rip-off, so voting them all out will assure justice to the culprits and send a strong message to those who replace them: We demand full settlement for everybody.
The words of my father come to mind: ``You don't have political clout until you exercise it.'' Let's just do that, fellow retirees!
