FORGIVE PAST WRONGS

As a white male, I have grown tired of the rhetoric spoken by white people following the Million Man March. All I heard during the march was a positive message telling black Americans to clean up their act, fix their own problems and then maybe the effects of racism will lessen.

These are things that white Americans have been saying for years, but do we stand with Farrakhan and say amen? No! All we speak about are Farrakhan's past statements. Well, how can we ask the black Americans to forgive us for past wrongs it we cannot do the same. Can't we all make this a day of atonement and not forget but forgive one another for things we've done wrong and move on together?
