I am writing to express my disgust with the campaign of lies being run by Debra Quesinberry.
She is running for the House of Delegates seat held so ably by Bill Barlow. He has been a strong, independent voice for the 64th House District for the past four years. He believes in the traditional values that are so important to our society like family, integrity and community service.
While Bill Barlow has fought for these important values, Debra Quesinberry has resorted to mudslinging and lies to try to win an election. She has publicly stated that Bill Barlow did not support welfare reform, which is an outright lie. She cites House Bill 2001 as evidence, but according to the official floor voting record for Bill Barlow, he voted in favor of this bill and welfare reform.
Quesinberry simply can't get the facts straight. We should ask ourselves that if she can't tell the truth now, what can we expect from her if she is elected as our delegate?
I believe we deserve better than Debra Quesinberry. On Nov. 7, vote for Bill Barlow, a man we can trust as our delegate in Richmond.

I once asked my mother, ``Why do people say mean, untrue things?'' She replied, ``When people feel bad about something they have done, some of them will resort to name calling to feel better about themselves or hide the fact they have done something bad.''
At no time has my mother's observation been more clear than now. My mother is Debra Quesinberry. She is running for the House of Delegates in the 64th District. Her opponent, Bill Barlow, must be feeling bad about the way he has voted against the people of this district. He called her names two years ago, and he is at it again this year.
My mother has always taught me to care for everyone like I would for my own family, and to try to understand other peoples' struggles before I judge them. But I cannot understand why Bill Barlow is saying all of these untrue things.
I have worked at the General Assembly for four years, and I am excited to finally be old enough to vote for my state representative this year. This year I am proud to have the opportunity to vote for a well-qualified person with common sense conservative principles, who happens to be my mother.
The current delegate has called my mom a radical. Since when has working hard to provide a good life for your family been radical? Since when has caring about the community your children live in been radical? Since when has feeling the need to serve your country in the Army Reserves been radical? Since when has a pharmacist, the most trusted profession, been a radical?
Bill Barlow just does not want to admit that Debra Quesinberry is just the type of person that Virginia needs in the General Assembly, one who will put families and taxpayers first because she understands their needs.
My parents are hard-working Virginians and have struggled to put themselves and my brother and me through school. My mother spent at least a hundred nights in the hospital with my brother when he was a child, not knowing if he would live to the next day. She then worked every day to help him grow to be the strong man he is today, a member of the Henrico County Police Academy so he could be a policeman like my father and my grandfather. She spent hours with me every night, helping me with homework so I could graduate from high school at 16. She has also spent many nights hoping my dad will come home alive, reminding herself that God will always keep safe those who are protecting others.
My parents have instilled in me the values and morals to see good from bad. I believe that the citizens from the 64th District will see through the liberal Democrats' name calling and vote for Debra Quesinberry. I know that Debra Quesinberry will represent the real values and needs of the 64th District.
