Andrew Lee ``Daddy Buck'' Bailey departed this life Oct. 22, 1995, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.
A native of Surry County, he retired from the Surry County Schools where he worked as a bus driver for a number of years. He was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, where he served on the Deacon Board. He was a member of the Surry Senior Citizens and drove the van for them and was also a member of Union Love Lodge (NU)153. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise Bailey.
He is survived by two daughters, Rosa Mae Poole of Surry, Va., and Elizabeth Jones of Wakefield; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon today in Mount Nebo Baptist Church by the Rev. Daniel L. Baltimore. Interment will be in Booker T. Memorial Cemetery, Wakefield. Poole's Funeral Home in charge.
