THEODORE L. BEASLEY

Lt. Col. Theodore L. Beasley, 76, retired U.S. Army, died Oct. 24, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mr. Beasley was born in Salem, Ill. A highly decorated veteran of World War II and the Korean War, his military career spanned 25 years. After military retirement he was employment security coordinator for the Virginia Employment Commission, from which he also retired.

Colonel Beasley was a member of Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach he was active with the B.P.O.E., A.A.R.P. and the Point O' Woods Civic League.

Survivors include his wife, Karla Beasley; two daughters, Margarita and her husband, Michael of Raleigh, N.C., Catherine and her husband, Arthur of Chesapeake; two sons, Theodore and his wife, Linda of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Louis of Chesapeake; a sister, Naomi Wood of Salem; two brothers, Warren Beasley of Salem, Louis Beasley of Lake Ozark, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Maria Beasley-McDonald, Mary Wilson, Jessica Beasley, Alison and Alexis Motley.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends in the Parish Hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bainbridge Music Fund, Eastern Shore Chapel, 2020 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454 or to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, Va. 23501-2156. H.D.Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Chapel are handling arrangements.

The family will receive friends in the parish hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bainbridge Music Fund at Eastern Shore Chapel,2020 Laskin Rd. Virginia Beach, Va. 23454 or to the Childrens Hospital of The Kings Daughters, P.O.
