CAMP G. CHAPEL

Camp Gilbert ``Tim'' Chapel, 74, of the 2900 block of Kimball Terrace, died Oct. 23, 1995, in a local hospital.

He was self-employed as a mechanic and a native of Ashboro, N.C.

He is survived by his wife, Addie Lee Clark Chapel; five daughters, Jean D. Thorton, Audrey E. Riddick, Gloria V. Chapel, Carolyn A. Chapel, Cleanora L. Chapel, all of Norfolk; one son, Michael C. Chapel of Norfolk; three sisters, Ruth, Benny Mae, Helen; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at 2947 Kimball Terrace, Norfolk, Saturday at 11 a.m. for the funeral procession to the chapel. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
