Erna Blakenburg Strickrodt, 101, of the 200 block of E. McGinnis Circle, died Oct. 26, 1995, in her home.
She was a native of Ebeleben, Thuringer, Germany and was the widow of Frederick Karl Strickrodt. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Margaret A. Lynch of Los Altos, Calif., Martha S. Hiller of Virginia Beach, Reni M. Strickrodt of Norfolk; son, Fred K. Strickrodt Jr. of Norfolk; daughter-in-law, Margaret L. Strickrodt of Norfolk; five granddaughters, one grandson, three great-granddaughters, and five great-grandsons.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Dr. James G. Cobb in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.
