Richard T. Radford, 56, died Oct. 25, 1995, in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Radford, a retired dry cleaner, was a native of Edenton, N.C. He was the widower of Amelia Fern Radford.
Survivors include three daughters, Michelle Sandoval of Illinois, Andrea Spence of Ohio, and Leah Radford of Virginia Beach; two step-daughters, Debbie Weisgarber of Florida, Darlene Henry of Florida; one son, Richard Radford of Hawaii; four step-sons, Joseph Darden of Florida, David Darden of Illinois, Robert Darden of Norfolk, and Jack Darden of Texas; four sisters, Catherine Baker and Shellie Carter of Virginia Beach, Iris Barnes and Lucy Radford of Norfolk; three brothers, Earl Radford of Ivor, Va., Bill Radford and Linwood Radford, both of Raleigh, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 6330 Newtown Road, Norfolk.
