PAUL H. HERRON

Chief Petty Officer Paul H. Herron, U.S. Navy retired, 67, of the 2400 block of Sunset Drive, died Oct. 27, 1995, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Herron, a native of Biltmore, N.C., was also retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, Korea, Vietnam. He was a member of Knights of Pythias Lodge 16, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Cradock, Fleet Reserve Association Branch 40, Moose Lodge (NU)898, American Legion in Portsmouth, Anglers Club of Portsmouth, Manicani Island Association.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa W. Herron; one sister, Virginia B. Miller of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Joe M. Herron of Columbus; several nieces and nephews and several in-laws, all of Brazil.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by Dr. David R. Denny. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park with military honors. Family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, where a Fleet Reserve Service will be held at 7 p.m.
