Lillian L. Sloan, of the 5800 block of Bernhowe Manor Lane, died Oct. 26, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Sloan, a native of Wilmington, N.C., was a former member of Noble Street Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and former member of St. Stephens A.M.E. Church, Wilmington.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur T. Sloan Sr.; one daughter, Janice W. Sloan of Portsmouth; three sons, Wilbur T. Sloan Jr. and Douglas A. Sloan, both of Suffolk, Kenneth E. Sloan of Laurel, Md.; three grandchildren, Alishia L. Sloan, Falishia M. Sloan, and Jeremy T. Sloan, all of Portsmouth; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
The body will be shipped from Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, to Adkins-Drain Funeral Service, Wilmington, for funeral and burial.
