A 22-year-old man was found dead late Thursday night, the victim of an apparent shooting, police said.
Police received a call about 11:30 p.m. that someone was slumped over the wheel of a car at the intersection of Maltby and Corprew Avenues. When rescue workers arrived, they found Richard J. Khouri of the 1000 block of Buckingham Ave. in his grey 1985 Porsche.
Police said Khouri was a Navy man stationed at the Norfolk Naval Base. Khouri's body was taken to the Norfolk Crime Lab for an autopsy. Police were investigating the death as a homicide, but had no suspects.
