Wallace Eugene Boyd, 65, died Oct. 27, 1995.
He was a former employee of the N&W Railroad, a retired electrical contractor, a farmer, owner and manager of Lunenburg County Livestock Market Inc. of Victoria and South Hill Market. He was a member of the Crewe Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alma McMillian Boyd; four children, Wallace Edward Boyd and Susan McKeon, both of Suffolk, and Ronald L. Boyd and Jeff Boyd, both of Crewe; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers, Shirley Boyd of Medford, Mass., James Boyd of Chesterfield and Frank Boyd of Dinwiddie.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Burkeville. The family will receive friends at the Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Crewe Volunteer Fire Department or Nottoway County Emergency Squad.
