GOLDIE J. CARR

Goldie Joyner Carr, 77, of the 200 block of Kilby Shore Drive, died Oct. 28, 1995, in Obici Hospital.

Mrs. Carr, the widow of Paul Clevon Carr, was a homemaker. She was a native of Isle of Wight County, Va. and a member of Liberty Spring Christian Church, Suffolk. She was also a member of Women's Fellowship Circle (NU)1.

Survivors include four sons, Ivan Rae Carr of Virginia Beach, Lloyd Clevon Carr, Gerald Payne Carr, Paul Everett Carr, all of Suffolk; two sisters, Hazel J. Berryman of Surry, Va., Deanie Holland of Isle of Wight; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Victoria Chapman Joyner and Lloyd Livey Joyner.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. William A. Grissom and the Rev. Joseph A. Talley. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and other times at 146 Robin Lane, Suffolk, home of G. Payne Carr.
