Juanita Dillard Wood, 76, formerly of Console Avenue, died Oct. 14, 1995.
Mrs. Wood, a homemaker, was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Emerson D. Wood. She was a native of Etowah County, Ala., and was a Methodist.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia W. Grant of Virginia Beach, Linda W. Cruz of Virginia Beach; two sons, Leslie D. Wood of Raleigh, N.C., Ron E. Wood of South Port, Fla.; one sister, Velma Winder of Zebulon, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, Debbie Gressley, Barbara Bosch, Doug Grant, all of Virginia Beach, Donna Sicros of Atlanta, Virginia Wood of Waynesboro, Va., Andy Wood of Raleigh, Lisa Shifflett, Allen Midgette of Virginia Beach, Greg Wood of Windham, Maine, Stephanie Lyons of Hampton; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Oct. 18, 1995, in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughter or the Ocean Park Rescue Squad of Virginia Beach. All the information was furnished by Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
