Andy Walker, 32, died Oct. 25, 1995.
Andy was a native of Chincoteague and longtime resident of Norfolk, where he was a senior stylist at Changes Hairstyling, an educator for Matrix Essentials and Davidson's Beauty Supply. He was an active fundraiser for the Hampton Roads AIDS Walk Foundation. Andy was loved by many within and without the beauty industry.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Walker; two sisters, Mrs. Cynda Rae Rhodes and Mrs. Susan Merritt; and one brother, Mr. Christopher Walker, all of Chincoteague.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague. A memorial service will be held Nov. 1, 1995, in St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Norfolk, at 7 p.m. Donations in Andy's memory should be made to the Hampton Roads AIDS Walk Foundation. For information call 804-531-AIDS.
