A recent article in your newspaper disclosed political-action committee donations to our local legislator's campaign.
Webster's Dictionary (Seventh New Collegiate) provides one definition of bribery as: something that serves to induce or influence. This leads me to believe that our politicians are accepting bribes, which is an unethical practice if not against the law.
I challenge any politician to explain where the line is drawn between accepting contributions to a political campaign and bribery. Also, if it is unethical, why do they let it continue?
