Lula B. Scott, 80, of the 200 block of Colonel Circle, died Oct. 28, 1995.
Mrs. Scott was retired from General Electric as a machine operator after 17 years. She was the widow of Melvin Scott of Newark, N.J.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Hazel Campbell of Virginia Beach; two sons, Alton Matthews of Newark, N.J., and Lindsey Campbell of Virginia Beach; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and one devoted aunt, Ruby Reynolds of Newark.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. H.A. Davis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 233 Colonel Circle at noon for the processional to the funeral chapel.
