Robert Lee ``Pinky'' Powell, of the 700 block of Luther St., died Oct. 23, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Norfolk County. He was a retired construction worker.
He is survived by five daughters, Gladys Holmes of Norfolk, Karen Moore, Marion Watson and Stephanie Watson, all of Chesapeake, Doris Harris of Leesburg, Fla.; three sons, James Lee Watson, Robert Lee Watson, both of Chesapeake and Jeffrey Watson of Lawrenceville, Va.; six sisters, Bernice Evans of Philadelphia, Doris Wyngate and Viola Artis, both of Chesapeake, Annette Roberts of Kansas City, Mo., Angie Lewis and Theresa Lewis, both of Chesapeake; three brothers, James Powell Jr., William Powell and Henry Powell, all of Chesapeake; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Bells Mill, by the Rev. Kim Brown. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will assemble at the residence at noon.
