Joseph M. Holloman, 71, of the 3500 block of Collins Blvd., died Oct. 29, 1995 in Lawrenceville, Va.
He was a native of Harrellsville, N.C., and was retired from G.E. as a maintenance technician. Mr. Holloman attended Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church and Old Virginia Hunt Club.
He is survived by his wife, Edna M. Holloman; son, Keith Holloman of Maryland; two stepdaughters, Gay Hardesty of Pollocksville, N.C., and Dianna Clark of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Jean Dilday of Ahoskie, N.C.; three brothers, A.C. Holloman of Harrellsville, N.C., Sidney Holloman of Chesapeake, and Howard Holloman of Ahoskie; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Nelson F. Fields. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
